Trulia – Want to learn about what kind of housing is available in your chosen city? Trulia is a great tool that can help you find homes for sale. Its web site also offers information on different neighborhoods, finding a real estate agent or advice on financing your new place.

Suburb Scout – The neighborhood you found seems perfect, but is it really? This handy app allows you to search for possible nuisances in your new neighborhood, including sewage plants, airports, landfills and prisons.
